Absolute Art Productions (AAP) founded in 2013, is a multimedia theatre troupe formed by five multidisciplinary artists from the visual and performing arts. Its members strive to create a novel and dynamic language to tell compelling stories about the Latinx experience and culture through the interaction of diverse artistic mediums and technologies. Given the complex psychosocial makeup in how we relate to one another, attributed to the heightened use of modern technological tools --smartphones, thinkpads, FaceTime, virtual cyber communities and instant communication--we propose the integration of alternative theatrical conventions that re-transcribe our notions of expression and create art that speaks in a "technological relatedness”-- bringing together the physical, virtual, intimate and imaginary spaces we now exist in.
